WESTERN MICHIGAN RAILROAD CLUB

The new Michigan & Western layout is currently under construction at the Club's Hobby World location.  The layout will represent the M&W in a post acquisition role in the 'new' Chessie system.  The track plan is a basic point to point plan with return loops at each end to accommodate continuous running for guests.  The big  yard will be Rigney Yard which will loosely represent Grand Rapid's Wyoming yard.  There is a peninsula in the middle along with some double decking along two of the walls.  The Union Station train shed built by Al VandePutte will be used, along with the curved trestle, some yard features and bridges.
