Rethinking our ways on the fence.
We recognized right off that we needed "finger board" pressure against the boards riding against the fence.
We tried using the "real" finger board that came with the ShopSmith but with every cut we had to adjust it!
So we came up with a "spring board" to apply adequate pressure throughout all the strips in the board.
When the boards got "skinny" we simply added a second spring board to keep adequate pressure.
It worked surprisingly well.
