Vapor racing is a Christian run racing team that was established in 1996.  The focus of our team is to be competitive where ever we compete and to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.  We get the gospel out using a short tract on the back of pictures that we give away.  We have had some success using this method.  We also look to Christian businesses and ministries to advertise with us.  During the 1998 racing season we had WaY fm 88.3 Christian Hit Radio, Kalamazoo Right to Life, Youth for Christ, Alternatives of  Kalamazoo Pregnancy Care Centers, Ridderman & Son Oil Co., One Way Products Inc., The Rock Music Club, Bullseye Pizza and Subs, Mr. Fix-It, Sign Impressions, Milwood Auto Parts, and Automotive Concepts Carstar working with us.  This is  something unique to Vapor racing and we will try to keep working in this direction.

During the 1999 racing season I will be serving as the chaplain for the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series.  With the help and support of my wife and children we will engage this new challenge with enthusiasm and prayer.

The 1998 racing season was a huge success.  The team finished first in points at the Kalamazoo Speedway a Nascar sanctioned track.  The team finished the season with 5 heat wins, 7 feature wins, and 8 fast times.  We finished in the top five 17 times in 21 starts with only 1 DNF.

The 1997 racing season led to a second place in points.  The team finished the season with 3 heat wins, 2 feature wins, and 4 fast times.  We finished in the top five 19 times in 20 starts with only 1 DNF.

The 1996 racing season led to a second place in points at the Galesburg Speedway.  The team finished the season with 2 heat wins, 6 feature wins, and 9 fast times.  We finished in the top five 20 times in 25 starts with only 1 DNF.
